The second one is realizing my health, along with my family, is the most important thing in the world  (Retiring Quotes) Fidelity to conscience is inconsistent with retiring modesty. If it be so, let the modesty succumb. It can be only a false modesty which can be thus endangered  (Retiring Quotes) Time has the same effect on the mind as on the face; the predominant passion and the strongest feature become more conspicuous from the others retiring  (Retiring Quotes) The minute I think I’m getting mellow, I’m retiring. Never. Not since the day I was born  (Retiring Quotes) Retiring from cricket is not about form. I feel that the time is now and it’s right. I’ve tried to give everything I have when I’ve played the game, the game goes on. You can’t hold onto it and people shouldn’t be too sentimental. I think a lot better players and greater players have gone, and the game has gone on and there are new players who take the mantle, and in my case it won’t be any different  (Retiring Quotes) As soon as I finish one thing, there’s always something else on the horizon I want to do.
