Text Quotes
I have really fond memories of growing up in Chicago, and I always love going back. I still have a lot of really good friends from high school that I go to dinner with. It’s kind of become a tradition when I go out there to do a show to give a few friends a call, tell some funny stories about high school and walk down memory lane.  (Memory Quotes) The first thing I remember is Alexander Calder - our school took us on a field trip to go see the Calder mobiles, and that always stuck in my memory.  (Memory Quotes) What peaceful hours I once enjoy’d! How sweet their memory still! But they have left an aching void The world can never fill.  (Memory Quotes) I’m obsessed with voices in film. I have this memory of how people say words, even on the most intensely stupid reality TV show.  (Memory Quotes) From this point forth, we shall be leaving the firm foundation of fact and journeying together through the murky marshes of memory into thickets of wildest guesswork.  (Memory Quotes) Last night I’d made love to a woman for the first and last time. It had been amazing and I had a memory that would shape the rest of my life.  (Memory Quotes) A kind of memory that tells us that what we’re now striving for was once nearer and truer and attached to us with infinite tenderness. Here all is distance, there it was breath. After the first home the second one seems draughty and strangely sexed.  (Memory Quotes) My first memory is on a ship from California back to Sydney. Water is just a natural place of home and not home.  (Memory Quotes) I love the stage, it’s my first love - but, it’s gone. You do your performance, then it’s a memory. It only lives in the moment.  (Memory Quotes) Five senses; an incurably abstract intellect; a haphazardly selective memory; a set of preconceptions and assumptions so numerous that I can never examine more than a minority of them - never become even conscious of them all.  (Memory Quotes) Neural implants could accomplish things no external interface could: Virtual and augmented reality with all five senses; augmentation of human memory, attention, and learning speed; even multi-sense telepathy - sharing what we see, hear, touch, and even perhaps what we think and feel with others.  (Memory Quotes) The same river can never be crossed twice. The flowing water has no memory of footprints.  (Memory Quotes) Memory enhancement self-help programs abound and promise improved memory performance by the utilization of any number of seemingly unique techniques focused on the context of how information is encoded.  (Memory Quotes) I call to mind flatness and dampness; and then all is madness - the madness of a memory which busies itself among forbidden things.  (Memory Quotes) I don’t think forgetting is an important feature of human memory. I think it’s important to be able to remember things accurately.  (Memory Quotes) You must never forget it if that’s an important memory to you. Especially when a person dies, he can only live in the memories of others.  (Memory Quotes) To envision the future; you must forget the past and make the present a memory  (Memory Quotes) History is the diary of humankind; to forget it is to try to navigate the future with no memory of the past.  (Memory Quotes) Without memory, there is no healing. Without forgiveness, there is no future.  (Memory Quotes) It is then he realises that certain things loom larger than forgiveness and reconciliation: memory, for one, and history, bloody history.  (Memory Quotes) In forgiving, people are not being asked to forget. On the contrary, it is important to remember, so that we should not let such atrocities happen again. Forgiveness does not mean condoning what has been done. It means taking what happened seriously...drawing out the sting in the memory that threatens our entire existence.  (Memory Quotes) It is curious to note how fragile the memory is, even for the important times in one’s life. This is, moreover, what explains the fortunate fantasy of history.  (Memory Quotes) If I have one special memory, it was when we recreated the trial of the Chicago Seven - and I’d known about it before - but this was a pivotal moment in my life. If my father had been found guilty of conspiracy, I wouldn’t be here.  (Memory Quotes) The future has no memory of your past or present. You are free to make it anything you choose. So make it great!  (Memory Quotes) Woe to that nation whose literature is cut short by the intrusion of force. This is not merely interference with freedom of the press but the sealing up of a nation’s heart, the excision of its memory.  (Memory Quotes) Are you ready to step out of the prison of memory and conditioned responses into the experience of freedom? If so, then observe your addictive behaviors without judgment.  (Memory Quotes) Institutional memory is important in any organization, but so are fresh ideas  (Memory Quotes) The Cern laboratory in Geneva was set up in 1955 to bring together European scientists who wished to pursue research into the nuclear and sub-nuclear world. Physicists then had greater clout than other scientists because the memory of their role in the Second World War was fresh in people’s minds.  (Memory Quotes) Research shows that when they confront a potentially unpleasant situation, such as some unfriendly faces at a gathering, these extraverts are apt to shift their attention rapidly around the room and zero in on amiable or neutral visages, thus short-circuiting the distressing images before they can get stored in memory.  (Memory Quotes) And the only sign of life is the ticking of the pen, introducing characters to memory like old friends.  (Memory Quotes)
