I used to be a superhero. No one could touch me, not even myself. Today I am the popular girl, and the bullies come to my show  (I Used To Quotes) I used to have more tolerance for these views, but I am losing patience with what I see. The test of anything is the fruit it bears. I see no good fruit being born  (I Used To Quotes) I don't know anything about anything. The only difference between then and now is this: I may know more than I used to but my wisdom pales in comparison to that which I have yet to learn  (I Used To Quotes) I have been through various fitness regimes. But as I got older I looked deeper and thought, 'I don't know what my father was going through, but if he was around all the time, would I be who I am today?  (I Used To Quotes) When I was practicing psychology, I used to tell myself if I ever get to where I'm just doing this for the money or I'm just going through the motions, I'll quit  (I Used To Quotes) I used to be scared of women. When I was very young they terrified me, but discovering the female universe was incredible and still is to this day, as you never stop learning about them  (I Used To Quotes) My friends are gone and my hair is grey. I ache in places I used to play. And I'm crazy for love but I'm not coming on. I'm just paying my rent every day in the tower of song  (I Used To Quotes) It was hard to get guys to notice me, period, because I was so skinny and all my friends were curvy. Plus, I used to be very nervous in front of guys  (I Used To Quotes) I used to be a real prince charming if I went on a date with a girl. But then I’d get to where I was likely to have a stroke from the stress of keeping up my act. I’ve since learned the key to a good date is to pay attention on her  (I Used To Quotes) I used to wear a lot of red lipstick, and when I got a pimple, I’d cover it up with eyeliner to turn it into a beauty mark  (I Used To Quotes) I have to say I’ve worked very few days of my life. I used to have to cut the lawn, and when I was in junior high school, I worked at a concession stand at a stadium  (I Used To Quotes) I used to wear boxers and a tank top, but now I sleep in the nude. It’s kind of weird, because I used to have to wear something to bed, whether it was a tank top or whatever. And now if I have any clothes at all on, it’s really hard to get to sleep  (I Used To Quotes) I was often very, incredibly naughty, and if I didn’t come home at tea time I used to be sent to bed without any dinner. But people used to bring me things: I was better fed in bed  (I Used To Quotes) I used to get a sort of sociophobia, and I still get it sometimes these days when I’m in a confined space with too many people. It’s not like I freak out or anything, it’s just that I’m far more comfortable in my own company sometimes than being surrounded by one thousand strangers  (I Used To Quotes) I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this  (I Used To Quotes) Wounding and healing are not opposites. They’re part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to to find other people or to even know they’re alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of  (I Used To Quotes) I just want the bullying to stop. That is all I ever wanted. I used to love going to school. I am not who I want to be, but I am on the journey there, and thankfully I am not whom I used to be  (I Used To Quotes)
