Text Quotes
I’m a Kiwi. I’m from a beach suburb called Takapuna, which is on the north shore of Auckland in New Zealand.  (Beach Quotes) It’s almost a cliche that great Silicon Valley entrepreneurs don’t go sit on a beach when they make a lot of money; they get back to work building another company or at least investing in other people’s companies.  (Beach Quotes) I have never been in a bad mood and near a beach ball at the same time. Causation? Correlation? Or fate?  (Beach Quotes) Barry White, Smokey Robinson and Curtis Mayfield are big influences for me. But I’m also a metal head. I was in a bunch of punk rock bands. The Bee Gees, hip-hop and the Beach Boys are just as much of an influence on me as Smokey.  (Beach Quotes) We were at a beach one summer, and I had a bathing suit on. My wife looked at me and said: ‘Boy, you are skinny, aren’t you?’ I said: ‘Honey, I’d like to remind you that it was minor defects like this that kept me from getting a better wife.’  (Beach Quotes) Did I really wear bathing suits, at the beach? I did, without thought, among men, without caring that my legs, my arms, my thighs and back were on display, could be seen. Shameful, immodest.  (Beach Quotes) What is it to enjoy life? Sit at the beach? No. What it is is that you have to do something, you have be productive, make a contribution to the society, to the family, to yourself.  (Beach Quotes) I’m 24, so I’ll go out and, yeah, have a few drinks and dance - I love to dance - and have a good time, but I like to do other things, too. I like going to the beach and reading and hiking.  (Beach Quotes) Miami Beach - that’s where I grew up, in a middle-class Jewish family led by my maternal grandfather. Me, my great-grandmother - a Holocaust survivor, who was my roommate - my grandparents, my mom and her brother all shared a four-bedroom house.  (Beach Quotes) Couples without kids have each other, their friends, families, and Siri to talk to. It’s not like they’re quarantining themselves in an underground bunker, never to take a romantic stroll on the beach or attend a Morrissey concert ever again. They’re just using birth control.  (Beach Quotes) I grew up in a family where everybody had a good time and we were at the lake every weekend and going to the beach and living a good life. It’s been the way we always lived, and my wife’s the same way - enjoy every day and have fun.  (Beach Quotes) I’m not married, and I don’t have any kids, so sometimes I envy that end of things when I see a family vacation or people at the beach with their kids or at sporting events with their kids; you wonder, ‘Is that a part of your life that you want to go into?’  (Beach Quotes) The thing that’s really cool for me about Miami Beach is you have this dichotomy between sunlight and family and happiness and innocence and then at night, darker, stranger mob conspiracy stuff sort of comes out. It seems like a storytelling engine. You can just keep writing about how those two worlds smash into each other.  (Beach Quotes) My favorite place in Indonesia is Bali. I was there with my family in Nusa Dua, and my kids loved it. I’m a workaholic, so for me, Bali is a place where you can have a vacation, but you can have your own moment as well. You feel like you blend with nature - and I love the beach.  (Beach Quotes) I told my wife that since we have a little one on the way, maybe when he gets old enough, instead of just taking a vacation to the beach or Disney World or something like that, we go and do something that actually has an impact on other people. That would be neat for him to experience and for us to do as a family.  (Beach Quotes) I miss family and friends, and I’d like to get back to work more in Scotland, and do more things like theatre and ‘Red Road.’ But over here you have the beach and the mountains and the climate. A lot of people diss L.A. as being all tinsel town, fake this and fake that, but a place is only as good as the people you know.  (Beach Quotes) Nobody in my family ever surfed, but they would always bring me to the beach  (Beach Quotes) As a child, we visited the San Juan Islands during the summer. Kayaking, big family meals, playing on the beach - great memories!  (Beach Quotes) I played a kid’s game, I got to do it at the beach, and I was able to support my family. I consider myself incredibly lucky.  (Beach Quotes) I love hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach or just being a couch potato and binge watching TV shows or watching a good movie.  (Beach Quotes) I try to get to the beach every day. It brings sanity to my life. I’ll just sit and read a book and enjoy the quiet.  (Beach Quotes) I enjoyed growing up part of my life in Virginia Beach. We had the ocean and the beach and a beautiful landscape. We were outdoors all the time and we played outside.  (Beach Quotes) I grew up in the Midwest, quite far from any ocean or any beach, a million miles. I think for kids who grew up where I did, the idea of California, surfing and beach life was so exotic and glamorous.  (Beach Quotes) It’s funny, but when I arrived in California to start college I was much more interested in becoming a surfer and cruise along in life from one beach to the next. I didn’t plan out any huge career for myself.  (Beach Quotes) Some people see acting as a kind of stroll on the beach, and some people see it as a kind of skydive. And I’ve had lots of strolls on the beach in my life, so I’d like to do a skydive.  (Beach Quotes) There were times over the years when life was not easy, but if you’re working a few hours a day and you’ve got a good book to read, and you can go outside to the beach and dig for clams, you’re okay.  (Beach Quotes) When I’m not working, I love going to the beach. I am from Florida, so I definitely love the beach life. I love horse-back riding. Just to go out to a barn, it’s fun. It’s kind of like a get-away from the city. And also, I love animals.  (Beach Quotes) Gone are the days when you could lie on a beach between races and still be in good enough shape to compete. Gone are the days when simply wearing a brand on your firesuit was enough to justify the marketing expense of an Indy Car. Racing an Indy Car is only about a quarter of my life as a racing driver.  (Beach Quotes) One of my earliest memories is of seeing my mother in her beach chair, reading a book under an umbrella by the water’s edge while my sisters and I played beside her. Of all the life lessons she taught me, that is one of my favorites: to take time at a place I love, restore my spirit with books and the beach.  (Beach Quotes) We are young, life is vivacious, life is fun, let’s enjoy it, at the beach with loving sun  (Beach Quotes)
