As a child, one of the most comforting things in the world was snuggling up with all of my stuffed animals at night. I had a whole menagerie of plush friends, from teddy bears to bunnies to unicorns, and each one held a special place in my heart. But as much as I loved them all, I also worried about hurting their feelings.

I remember one night in particular when I was around six years old. I had just received a new stuffed animal as a gift, a fluffy white kitten with big blue eyes. I was so excited to add her to my collection, but as I climbed into bed that night, I realized that there wasn't enough room for her among the other animals. I didn't want her to feel left out or unloved, so I made the decision to sleep with all of my stuffed animals piled on top of me.

It was a tight squeeze, but I was determined to make sure that none of my plush friends got offended. I nestled the new kitten in my arms and surrounded myself with the rest of the gang, making sure to give each one equal attention and affection. As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a sense of contentment knowing that all of my stuffed animals were happy and loved.

Looking back on that night now, I realize how silly it may seem to worry about the feelings of inanimate objects. But as a child, my stuffed animals were more than just toys – they were my companions, my confidants, and my protectors. I believed that they had feelings too, and I wanted to make sure that they knew how much I cared for them.
