Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow  (My Photo Quotes) I would that my photographs might be, not the coverage of a news event, but an indictment of war  (My Photo Quotes) When you look at my photos, just look into the eyes of my subjects. So they’re like found objects to me  (My Photo Quotes) A lot of people who look at my photographs think it is an easy joke, but it does take a bit of thinking about  (My Photo Quotes) My work is about making candy for the eyes. It’s about grabbing your attention. Even though my work is appearing in magazines I am trying to make a large picture. I want my photographs to read like a poster  (My Photo Quotes) My photos are my diary. Every photo is no more than the representation of a single day. And each day contains the past and the projection into the future. That’s why I feel compelled to indicate the date on every picture I take  (My Photo Quotes) I’d really rather leave it to others to say what they see in it and to see if I’ve put something into my photographs beyond a mere recording. Yes, I’ve chosen the camera position, how I’m going to print the negative, the angel of the lens, what I’m going to include and exclude in the composition, so on and so forth. They don’t go below anything. They’re readings of the surface. I have great faith in surfaces. A good one is full of clues. But whenever I become absorbed in the beauty of a face, in the excellence of a single feature, I feel I’ve lost what’s really there been seduced by someone else’s standard of beauty or by the sitter’s own idea of the best in him. I do not know any great photographer who would presume otherwise  (My Photo Quotes) Most of my photos are grounded in people, I look for the unguarded moment, the essential soul peeking out, experience etched on a persons face  (My Photo Quotes) After my kids were born I found myself incorporating my photography into different art endeavours and from there it just blossomed. I have always had to have an outlet for my creativity and when my life became more about raising my family than the bright lights of show business exploring my photo art was a great outlet for me  (My Photo Quotes) Photography begins not in the camera but in the mind and the eye. The real work is one of noticing and appreciating, seeing things clearly and differently, and sharing that vision with others. I have developed my vision and my photographic craft in order to bring the beauty of nature to light in a fresh way that can inspire and nourish people  (My Photo Quotes) Photography has been a passion of mine since I was 15. The perfection I seek in my photographic composition is a means to show the strength and dignity of animals in nature  (My Photo Quotes) As the oldest I was a daddys girl and loved him with all my heart. I use photography as a vessel for visual material to flow through, to encourage conversation with the viewer. I try to present a catalyst and invite viewers to tell their own stories  (My Photo Quotes) I know that everyone who listens to radio creates you in a visual image that they need you to have. Whatever that is, I thought, let them have it. Let me be who the listener needs me to be and let me not contradict that with the reality of my photograph and risk disappointing them  (My Photo Quotes) I used to have the most visceral response to having my photo taken. I felt like instantly bursting into tears and running out of the room. I hated all the attention, which is such a stupid thing for an actor to say  (My Photo Quotes)
