I wonder who is still going to be by my side 10 years from now?

As I sit here, contemplating the future and all that it may hold, I can't help but wonder who will still be by my side in 10 years. Will it be the same friends I have now, or will new people have come into my life to fill that role? It's a daunting thought, to think about the passage of time and how it can change the dynamics of our relationships.

I have always prided myself on being a loyal friend, someone who is there for others through thick and thin. But I also know that life can be unpredictable, and people can drift apart for a multitude of reasons. Whether it be due to distance, changing interests, or simply growing apart, the reality is that not everyone who is in my life now will still be there in a decade.

And that's okay. Change is a natural part of life, and it's important to embrace it rather than resist it. While it may be sad to think about losing touch with certain friends, it also opens up the possibility of forming new connections and deepening existing ones. Who knows what amazing people I will meet in the next 10 years, and how they will impact my life in ways I can't even imagine right now.

But still, there is a sense of nostalgia and longing when I think about the friends who have been with me through it all. The late-night conversations, the inside jokes, the shared experiences that have shaped who I am today – will those memories fade away as time goes on, or will they continue to hold a special place in my heart?

I can't predict the future, but I can cherish the present and the relationships that I have right now. I can make an effort to stay connected with those who mean the most to me, and to be open to forming new bonds with others. And most importantly, I can trust that whoever is meant to be by my side in 10 years will find a way to stay there, no matter what life may bring.
