Christmas may not bring a single thing; still, it gives me a song to sing  (Christmas Song Quotes) I wanted to have more songs with religious backgrounds. The Christmas record has strong, traditional hymns, but it also has a song called ‘Christmas in Heaven’ about missing someone that you love that’s passed on, and wondering what’s going on up there on Christmas.  (Christmas Song Quotes) With a track like ‘White Christmas,’ everybody has done that song in every format you can imagine, so I just looked at the chords at that particular song and what chords would make it work. That’s kind of quite a sad song, and I had this idea of someone singing it in the subway, someone who is homeless, old and sad.  (Christmas Song Quotes) Most of us remember Nat King Cole as a vocalist. His warm, grainy baritone is still so closely identified with such familiar ballads as ‘Stardust’ and ‘The Christmas Song’ that it’s hard to imagine anyone else performing them.  (Christmas Song Quotes) I’m glad that life isn’t like a Christmas song, because if my friends and I were building a snowman and it suddenly came alive when we put a hat on it, I’d probably freak and stab it to death with an icicle.  (Christmas Song Quotes) I love all holiday music. My two favorites would probably be Donny Hathaway’s This Christmas and Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song. They epitomize Christmas for me. Those two recordings will never be touched. That’s why I’ve never redone them.  (Christmas Song Quotes) One of those Christmas songs says, You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not pout. How’s my wife going to get along?  (Christmas Song Quotes) I intend to keep writing Christmas songs. There’s still a lot more about Christmas that can be captured and feel like old-time Christmas. A lot of the traditions haven’t been explained in song.  (Christmas Song Quotes) I think that there are a lot of really beautiful Christmas carols, and then sometimes there are horrible renditions of them that are played to death in malls that make me sad. I try to avoid stores where they’re playing bad versions of Christmas songs on repeat.  (Christmas Song Quotes) I really like the European carols, and I like that captivating sound that they have that isn’t usually in Christmas songs.  (Christmas Song Quotes) I went on iTunes and looked at versions of Christmas songs. Everyone has done them!  (Christmas Song Quotes) Whenever you give someone a present or sing a holiday song, you’re helping Santa Claus. To me, that’s what Christmas is all about. Helping Santa Claus!  (Christmas Song Quotes) Yes, my first memory of singing, in general, was of a Christmas song. And then listening to Christmas music was really the first music I was ever connected to  (Christmas Song Quotes) Every Christmas my hometown radio station would always play ‘Christmas In Dixie’ by Alabama. I always remember lovin’ that song  (Christmas Song Quotes) The vocal arrangements are a big part of the formula for a Bad Religion song - layered harmonies and background vocals. So when I start to describe the elements of Bad Religion’s sound, it starts to sound like a Christmas choir  (Christmas Song Quotes) The first music I was ever exposed to was Irish folk music, like the Clancy Brothers. My father plays that and Christmas songs  (Christmas Song Quotes) I love singing Christmas carols. I know every harmony to every music-hall Christmas song  (Christmas Song Quotes) When I was five my parents bought me a ukulele for Christmas. I quickly learned how to play it with my father’s guidance. Thereafter, my father regularly taught me all the good old fashioned songs  (Christmas Song Quotes) I intend to keep writing Christmas songs. There’s still a lot more about Christmas that can be captured and feel like old-time Christmas. A lot of the traditions haven’t been explained in song  (Christmas Song Quotes)
