Some of the best art in the world is collaborative, a mix of voices that are stronger together than separate. Take the Beatles, for example. Or every great movie ever made. We like to say they’re the director’s vision, but really, they’re huge collaborations between directors, writers, actors, even producers.  (Beatles Quotes) You’re not a baby boomer if you don’t have a visceral recollection of a Kennedy and a King assassination, a Beatles breakup, a U.S. defeat in Vietnam, and a Watergate.  (Beatles Quotes) You know how the Beatles broke off - they all did their solo projects and they came back together and they were even stronger!  (Beatles Quotes) I remember, when I was a kid, listening to the radio and hearing ‘Big Bad John’ by Jimmy Dean - and it just blew me away. I used to sit there and call the radio stations and request that song. And then the Beatles were obviously out already, but I really didn’t know about the Beatles.  (Beatles Quotes) The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen, these are just some of the people who threatened to sue if we used their songs.  (Beatles Quotes) A guy said to me, ‘You’re so lucky. You have people like Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand and The Beatles doing your songs.’ I figured out, though, the harder I work the luckier I get. The secret of anything is to surround yourself with good people if you want a good product.  (Beatles Quotes) I would like to work with Paul McCartney in the future. Or Brian Seltzer. But I guess like, like I said - I’m into The Strokes, like Ben Folds, Eliot Smith, the Beatles are my favorite, the Beach Boys, Queen.  (Beatles Quotes) When I started reaching teenage years, I listened to everything that was on the radio like everyone else did, which was Chuck Berry, Beach Boys and then of course The Beatles, Stones. And of course in the 60’s, I was completely blown away like everyone else by Hendrix, Cream, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck and all of that... so those were my influences.  (Beatles Quotes) Certainly, the Beach Boys and the early Beatles records were a huge influence on me lyrically  (Beatles Quotes) I think between The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and innumerable acts after that... rock music became a huge economic force.  (Beatles Quotes) The Beach Boys already had about four or five albums under our belt when these newcomers, The Beatles, took the U.S. by storm in early 1964.  (Beatles Quotes) I love Radiohead, which most people don’t expect, and I listen to everything from Stevie Wonder to Steely Dan, Carole King, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Beyonce Knowles, Vampire Weekend, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Burt Bacharach, and Paul Simon.  (Beatles Quotes) The Beach Boys have always been a part of the 60s spectrum, with The Beatles and that kind of thing. They were a part of the music business like everyone else. And they did quite well as a singing group, and I finished a lot of good records, and I’m very proud of them.  (Beatles Quotes) If it is a good song, it is a good song. The Beatles were pop, the beach boys were pop and it’s the best music of all time.  (Beatles Quotes) The Beatles were perfect. There’s just no other way to say it. They were the perfect band.  (Beatles Quotes) The Stones were more dangerous than other bands of the Sixties. It looked like they had more fun than the Beatles - like they stayed up later.  (Beatles Quotes) I was such a massive fan of all the 60s pop bands, but if I had to single out one band, it would definitely be The Beatles.  (Beatles Quotes) The first songs I learned was ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline and ‘At Last’ by Etta James. I had been growing up with the Beatles, Pink Floyd, great bands.  (Beatles Quotes) I learned to play piano in a rock n’ roll context or band context from country records - you know, Floyd Cramer - and from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and Stax. And none of those are keyboard records.  (Beatles Quotes) Around the time the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, I was already in a band  (Beatles Quotes) I was playing in bands before high school even. My first band I was in at 14. And we were playing just Beatles.  (Beatles Quotes) Every good band in the world was a cover band first. The Beatles were and the Stones were. Everybody was a cover band.  (Beatles Quotes) They [The Beatles ] were the first band to write their own songs in Britain because we always just covered American songs before that.  (Beatles Quotes) What affected me the most about the Beatles was that they were the biggest band in the world and they could have done anything they wanted.  (Beatles Quotes) The Beatles tried to do some tours and found it to be completely pointless and became a non-touring band after that, and with very good reason.  (Beatles Quotes) I mean if it wasn’t for The Beatles, none of this, none of the music we listen to would even exist. They’re my favourite band of all time.  (Beatles Quotes) My dad was in a Beatles cover band. My mom wore Candies and belly buttons. The people in our family were very glamorous. They wore pearls like Jackie O.  (Beatles Quotes) I could hum Beatles songs before I could talk - not very well, but sort of  (Beatles Quotes) Woody Allen movies are like Beatles songs.
